The designer's use of abstraction for the Split Rug expertly weaves together two narratives of new and old, with modern imagery juxtaposing the rustic feel. Simple geometric lines and forms dance across the rug, drawing in the viewers gaze, but leaving space for one's own interpretation of the shapes.
